This month’s *Quilt Block Mania* theme is **Up in the Air**, and my mind immediately went to wings in motion. *Raven’s Flight* is a bold, graphic quilt block that captures the movement of a bird just as it takes off—sharp, swift, and full of energy.

This block is inspired by the raven shapes in my **Raven’s Dream** quilt. While it’s not identical, it echoes that silhouette—reimagined as a standalone block perfect for a pillow, mini quilt, or mixed into a modern sampler.

This month’s QBM theme brought all kinds of creativity—stars, spaceships, moons, and beyond. But I kept coming back to birds. There’s something magical about the motion of wings—both powerful and weightless. Raven’s Flight captures that energy in a simple silhouette with clean lines and a sense of motion.
