There aren’t any complicated blocks to navigate, making it a perfect choice for confident beginners looking to grow their quilting skills. The key to this pattern’s clean, modern look is maintaining a consistent ¼” seam allowance, especially for the beautiful sashing detail. It’s an excellent project to practice precision piecing and level up your sewing game.
Tips for Consistent Seam Allowance:
To master that precise ¼” seam, consider marking your sewing machine with washi tape or using a dedicated ¼” presser foot. My go-to tool is the ¼” tape from Cluck Cluck Sew. It’s easy to apply, highly visible, and helps achieve accurate seams every time.
